I have never heard of Nicola Peltz and I don’t believe many other people have either as up until the latest Transformers: Age of Distinction New York film, she was the 19 year old daughter of a billionaire with little to no acting experience.
But I have just seen the premiere photos from around the world of this young lady and I am hooked, no obsessed with her look!!!
Not only do I LOVE the choice of dresses but her hair and make up are sublime! This girl knows how to look young in high fashion evening gowns unlike many of her peers *cough* Kylie and Kendall Jenner!!
Her make up hasn’t been applied with a trowel and I love the fact that she keeps her hair down so it looks soft and flowy. The simple trick of moving her hairline makes it seem like she has used lots of different styles when she hasn’t. I will continue to watch this lady VERY closely. Just insanely beautiful. Less is more ladies!!!
…… one of the most anticipated 7 days of the entire year! However, critics are saying the catwalk displays in the City last week warranted headlines BUT for all the wrong reasons.
Even the fabulous, iconic Kate Moss and “It” model of the moment Cara Delevingne looked dare I say it …. absolute frights! They both donned what looks like very bad, tacky, cheap acrylic black wigs. Surely the designers could have found better materials than this? My local costume shop around the corner has better quality wigs for parties at £5 eh!
You’d think these were the worst looks of the week wouldn’t you? Oh no, then you saw the shaggy sheep dog hair and orthopedic style shoes which showed on the Stella McCartney runway!
If these items are representative of forthcoming trends, I give up! I totally understand that designers do take looks on the catwalk as far as possible and some are meant to be tongue in cheek and taken with a pinch of salt. But just how is the average female supposed to translate these looks and recreate them for a day’s shopping or a night out? They’d look ridiculous! I mean would you seriously wear these shoes with a fine silk skirt or trousers?????
I love my leopard print as much as anyone, but Stella McCartney goes slightly overboard in this ensemble. I rocked leopard print, pencil leg trousers on Friday night but paired them with an over-sized plain black top, black shoes and bag. I understand that Stella is promoting her new range but I don’t think it will have anyone clambering to buy this particular outfit.
