As of 6am this morning, the Palace released a statement that Kate Middleton had indeed gone into early labour at St Mary’s Hospital. The royal baby is on its way!!
The eyes of the world have been on Kate during her 9 month pregnancy journey and particular attention has been paid to her fashion choices. She has been dressing immaculately throughout her pregnancy and for a woman who is photographed on a daily basis, it’s been no mean feat!
It’s not like Kate has been able to dress down in track bottoms, a baggy t-shirt and flip flops, unfortunately her role has involved attendance at black tie functions and celebrations, all of which required formal attire.
I have had a number of women come to Belle Dress Hire in the early stages of pregnancy who have found it extremely difficult to find an evening dress which fits well, doesn’t mimic a sack and is comfortable. I have found these ladies some beautiful dresses which have fitted the bill 100%. It’s important to look for styles which don’t have a lot of boning in them as this can restrict movement and can become uncomfortable if worn for a number of hours. Block colours rather than a busy pattern also work best on expectant mothers as it elongates the shape and minimises the size of the bump. Check out these very flattering “maternity-friendly” styles available for hire at Belle ….
